Learn to Knit (Introduction to Basic Knitting Skills) @ Vulcan's Rest Fibers

Cost $40. This class is for everyone – beginners to champion knitters. Pattern produces a triangular shawlette with two versions available – fingering weight or worsted weight. Skills required: Must be comfortable with casting on, knitting and purling, and increase and decreasing. Skills taught: yarn overs, knitting 3 stitches together, knitting in the front and back of same stitch, stretchy Russian bind-off, reading a chart, how to transform a triangular shawl into a rectangular one.
