September 11 and 18, 2015. Two day class, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Temari is an ancient craft from Japan that produces a kaleidoscopic patterned ball by embroidering with colorful threads. In this class, we’ll cover a Styrofoam ball by winding it with yarn, then with sewing thread. We’ll use lovely cotton and metallic threads to create the embroidered patterns.
All supplies included for class fee, plus prepared materials to expedite getting into the real artwork of Temari Ball making. Class will be taught by Jen and Karen, the “Temari Twins”; see their website on line. It is very impressive. Contact us at (410) 885-2890 or email@example.com.
