Map & Parking
Chesapeake City, MD is located along a working canal which splits the town in two. The north side of the canal is majority residential with Schaefer's Canal House being the only restaurant. The south side of the canal hosts the historic district with several restaurants, lodging and shops. From April-October there is a ferry service that you can use to travel either side. The historic canal bridge that connects both sides of town has a sidewalk for pedestrians to walk/bike across.
